ABOUT THE AUTHOR

When she’s not teaching 5th graders, Elizabeth Janette writes romance that both sizzles and thrills. Born to bookish parents, it’s no surprise Elizabeth Janette’s lifelong love of literacy led her to become both a teacher and a writer. In fact, writing about getting RIF’d from her teaching job in the 2008 recession is what led her to publish an essay in the JAEPL: Journal of the Assembly for Expanded Perspectives on Learning. From then on, she was hooked. Elizabeth’s debut romantic suspense novel was a finalist for the 2014 National Excellence for Romantic Fiction Award. Soul Mate Publishing released her second title, Assassin P.I., in 2016, and in 2018 Elizabeth finalled in the Windy City Four Seasons Romance Writing Contest.

You can often find Elizabeth chatting with her sister after school (who just so happens to be her school librarian), or hanging out with her hubby and two kids on a soccer field in sunny SoCal. Be on the lookout for her first contemporary romance, Merry Ex-Mas, to hit Amazon in the Fall of 2021. Visit www.elizabethjanette.com to connect with Elizabeth and sign up for her newsletter.

Get to Know Me

Sweet or Salty?

BOTH! I have a major sweet tooth, and when I was little, I used to steal bags of chips from the kitchen. From the way I used to horde food in my bedroom, you'd swear my parents never fed me!

Coffee or Tea?

Coffee in the morning, and hot tea after recess.

Coke or Pepsi?

Neither. I never developed a taste for any type of cola. Instead I prefer root beer.

Chocolate or Vanilla?

Chocolate all the way! My favorite is dark chocolate. When it comes to ice cream, I like Mint Chip or Chocolate Peanut-Butter.
